Goldfinch, American, males and females, non-breeding plumage (Carduelis tristis) - 22 Feb 06 - deck feeder, Gant Quarters, east Cobb Co. GA. There were 11 on each feeding sock. One or two of the males had just the start of breeding colors showing.
