Goose, Spur-winged, "northern race" (Plectropterus gambensis gambensis) - 8 Oct 07 - on an island in Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe near Victoria Falls. The more extensive white marks this as the "northern race" and the lack of a knob at the base of the upper bill in the center on make it a female.
