Mallard+Pacific Black Duck, fem hybrid, Mallard, male, Oban SI NZ 0850s

Mallard-Pacific Black Duck hybrid, female (Anas platyrhynchos-superciliosa) - 3 Jan 07 - Oban, Stewart Island, NZ. Female (behind) with a male Mallard. Note the greener speculum than the Mallard. I counted this as 1/2 a species.
