Penguin, Yellow-eyed (Megadyptes antipodes) - 9 Jan 07 - Enderby Island, NZ in the Auckland Islands group. This is how you would more likely see one. Unlike other penguins they do not breed in colonies, but in lone pairs in deep undergrowth like that behind this one.
