Skua, Brown (Stercorarius antarcticus lonnbergi) - 9 Jan 07 - Enderby Island, NZ in the Auckland Islands group. This is one of many adults we saw on the island. Occasionally, one would come up behind one of us to within 2 or 3 feet. These are big birds too.
