Birds of the Galapagos and Machu Picchu Trip August 2009

Finch, Medium Ground, male and female (right) (Geospiza fortis) - 12 Aug 09 & 14 Aug 09 (right) - on Santa Cruz Island, the Galápagos, Ecuador. Despite being on a cactus, the female is not a Cactus Finch. One of the Darwin Finches endemic to the Galápagos.
