Oystercatcher, American, adult and juvenile (inset) (Haematopus palliatus galapagensis) - 12 Aug 09 & 10 Aug 09 (inset) - on Santa Cruz Island & Española Island (inset), the Galápagos, Ecuador. Note the lack of an all red bill on the juvenile. Subspecies endemic to the Galápagos.
