005 Booted Racket-tail 7909

All around the buildings are hummingbird feeders and many, many hummingbirds. This is a Booted Racket-tail. Note the blue "rackets" at the end of a long thin tail and the white puff balls underneath which are the "boots." This is another of the 19 species of hummingbirds I saw that day; more species than are found in all of North America.
