Sunday, August 9th - Quito to the Galápagos. We were up very early the in the morning to catch our chartered 737 to Baltra Island in the Galápagos with a stop in Guayaquil to load up on fuel. This is a shot of Quito nestled in a Andes valley. That is the airport in the lower center of the picture.
