The M/V Xpedition, our home for the next 7 days. It is owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises and has a capacity of 100 passengers, the maximum allowed in the Galápagos (there were only 92 on this trip). The staff is almost entirely Ecuadorian including the Captain. The only non-Ecuadorian at the top of the chain was the Hotel Manager who was Italian.
