027 South shore of Espanola 8427

Our afternoon activity was a visit to Española Island, the oldest and southern most in the group. We landed on the northern side of the western tip. Larry and I took the long hike while Lisa, Pat and Marianne took the short walk. Ellen was ill (not sea sickness) and stayed in the cabin. This is the picturesque and wave batter south shore. The cliffs provided nesting sites for a variety of seabirds.
