Thursday, August 13th - Isabela & Fernandina Islands. Early in the morning we were entertained by a family of Lava Gulls. First one of the adults arrived. It called loudly until the second adult and then a juvenile arrive. The adults were hoping to steal some of the small croissants and the juvenile spent most of its time begging to be fed as in this shot.
