Our next stop was Ollantaytambo, a still occupied Incan village and site of one of the "resting places" along the main route to the jungle where they got coca leaves. Above the village were the remains of the Incan terraced fields (top-left), the temple at the top was never completed. Across a valley, perched on the hillside were the remains of a granary (top-right). The Incas had channeled a mountain stream into several of the waterfall fountains (bottom-left). Bottom-right: our guide, Juan relates some of the history and lore of this location (Lisa is on the left).
